Exhibition: Hungarian traces in Chemnitz
Opening on Thursday, 12 October at the adult education centre
As part of the project "Hungarian Traces in Chemnitz", the Hungarian Cultural Association Chemnitz and Surroundings e. V. cordially invites you to the opening of the exhibition next Thursday, 12 October 2017, 6 pm, at the Adult Education Centre.
Many Hungarians living in Chemnitz today came to the GDR 50 years ago as contract labourers from Hungary. There were also immigrants from Hungary before that and there still are today. The exhibition entitled "Hungarian Traces in Chemnitz" analyses the history of Hungarian immigration using Chemnitz as an example.
This exhibition will be on display in the corridors of the Adult Education Centre on the 4th floor until 16 November.
The project "Hungarian Traces in Chemnitz" and the exhibition are supported by cultural funding from the City of Chemnitz Cultural Centre.
