Exhibition about Anne Frank comes to Chemnitz
Invitation to the contract signing: on 7 December, 1 p.m., Bürgerhaus am Wall
On Thursday, 7 December at 1 pm, representatives of the media are invited to a press conference in the training room on the fourth floor of the Bürgerhaus am Wall. The occasion is the planned exhibition about Anne Frank in Chemnitz in 2024.
At the press conference, Mayor Knut Kunze, the headmistress of the Altendorf secondary school, Bärbel Schönherr, as well as Pastor Stephan Tischendorf and Youth Warden Michael Friedmann from the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Chemnitz will explain the status of the preparations and sign the corresponding contract with the Anne Frank Centre.
The exhibition "Your Anne. A girl writes history" will come to Chemnitz in 2024. The rooms will be provided by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chemnitz. The exhibition will be guided mainly by young people, some of whom have already been found through the State Office for Schools and Education.
