Excursion to the Chemnitz Valley
The Environmental Agency invites you
The last excursion organised by the volunteer nature conservation service this year leads to the Chemnitz Valley in the north of the city.
Mr Holger Tippmann from the Environmental Agency, Lower Nature Conservation Authority, will lead the natural history hike through the new nature reserve "Chemnitzaue bei Draisdorf" and discuss protected animal and plant species and their habitats, their care and conflicts of use.
The excursion will exceptionally take place on the third Tuesday of the month,
15 September 2015 and starts at 5 pm.
The meeting point is Heinersdorfer Straße/corner of the Chemnitz Valley cycle path. Due to the shortage of parking spaces at the meeting point, we recommend travelling by bike or public transport (bus no. 23 to Heinersdorf, from there on foot approx. 0.5 km) or carpooling. You should also make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
All nature conservation helpers and nature-loving citizens are cordially invited to this free excursion.
