Lecture at the Environmental Centre, 20 May, 10 a.m.
The AG Wertewandel of Agenda 21, the LAG Tierschutz, and the LAG ChristInnen of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen invite you to a lecture followed by a discussion with Rev.
Dr Ulrich Seidel from Aktion Kirche und Tiere e.V. (AKUT) on Saturday, 20 May 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Environmental Centre, Henriettenstraße 5. The lecture is entitled: "Everything that lives is your neighbour." Admission is free.
Background:
Many people, both faithful and unchurched, are calling for greater commitment from Christians and the church for fellow animal creatures. The Church and Animals campaign is a movement that originates from within the church. It believes that God is the creator of all beings and that all creatures are therefore interconnected. From this holistic point of view, AKUT turns to animals in a special way, in the knowledge, of course, that this commitment must not be detached from the whole.
