Musicollage - Mix

The "Musicollage" is a series of student concerts. Each concert is different and interesting. In this "Musicollage", various departments of the Municipal Music School present themselves and perform a colourful concert programme.
Thursday, 12 April, 3 p.m.
DA CAPO - Music café at the Kraftwerk
Venue: Kraftwerk e.V., Kaßbergstr. 36, 09112 Chemnitz
Admission: 6 euros (including coffee and cake)
DA CAPO - the music café popular with senior citizens presents well-known artists, musicians and singers from the region every first Thursday of the month. In April, Dr Jeffrey Goldberg introduces himself. He worked for many years as a repetiteur and conductor at the Staatstheater Darmstadt and Staatstheater Hannover, as well as in Boston and New England. He performs as a concert pianist and regularly devotes himself to new music, writing operas and improvisations.
In an exciting and informative chat with Ms Kiehn-Dziuballa and Dr Jeffrey Goldberg, the audience will learn interesting facts about his musical ideas and his work.

Day of the instruments
Venue: Municipal Music School
Admission: free
The various departments of the Municipal Music School present themselves at this annual information day. Everything from string instruments, wind instruments, keyboard instruments, plucked instruments, early music education to dance, rock-pop-jazz and singing will be represented. Teachers will open their classrooms throughout the building and provide an insight into the special features of their instruments and answer questions. Various instruments will also be available to try out.
Small concerts will round off the day.

The "Musicollage" is a series of student concerts. In this audition, the wind instruments department presents a colourful musical mix of the wide variety of wind instruments such as recorder, saxophone, horn, trumpet, etc.

Amadé in spe - piano Colours
Venue: Villa Esche, Richard-Wagner-Str.55, 09120 Chemnitz
Admission: 12 euros, reduced 8 euros
Young, highly talented piano students and prizewinners present themselves in this concert. A special focus this time is on four-handed playing.

Beetle concert - A day in the forest
For families with babies and toddlers
Venue: Chemnitz Municipal Music School, concert hall
Admission: 1 to 3 euros (advance booking via music school)
Antonia - the lively lady bug and mascot of the early music education department - spends a day in the forest. With music and sounds to listen to and join in with, the youngest children experience a concert atmosphere in around 35 minutes. Various instruments such as the flute, harp, French horn, piano and cello can be heard from dawn to dusk. The Beetle Concert is lovingly presented by children's ballet, pupils and teachers.

The "Musicollage" is a series of student concerts. Each concert is different and interesting. In this audition, the rock/pop/jazz department presents a colourful musical mix featuring a wide variety of musical instruments including electric guitar, piano, drums and vocals.

TIETZ sounds! Singing
Venue: TIETZ, stage in the foyer, Moritzstr. 20, 09111 Chemnitz
Admission: free
Visitors to the TIETZ will be greeted with songs. Various ensembles and soloists from the vocal department of the Municipal Music School present themselves in a small concert.
