Antonia - the lively lady bug and mascot of the early music education department - discovers a farm on her journey. There she meets the farmers' wives Magda and Gerda, wild cats and crazy chickens. A big farm festival is celebrated.

DA CAPO - music café at the Kraftwerk - with the senior academy of the youth art school "ZUŠ Chomutov"

Emi Suzuki on the grand piano and pupils from the ZUŠ Chomutov Youth Art School and the 100 Mozartkinder ensemble will provide the musical framework for the event. The Japanese pianist Emi Suzuki studied at the Tokyo College of Music and completed her studies at the Prague Conservatory. Concert tours have already taken her to many countries, where she has won several prizes. Emi Suzuki currently teaches at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School and at the Youth Art School in Chomutov. She is involved in German-Czech co-operation on behalf of the Sächsische Mozart-Gesellschaft e.V. (Saxon Mozart Society). The senior academy of the ZUŠ Chomutov Youth Art School was invited to this music café. Chomutov and Chemnitz seniors can exchange and compare their experiences and programmes. Nancy Gibson will lead through this musical hour.

Envia M ensemble competition - Saxony elimination

Vocal, instrumental or mixed ensembles with two to ten young artists can take part under the motto "Bass seeks Drums".
Together with the Association of German Music Schools and the music schools of the federal states, enviaM is looking for young instrumental and vocal talents of all genres. The first round of the competition takes place as a state competition in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg in two age groups. In a selection audition in front of a jury, the first three prizewinners in each age group and the winner of the state competition will be determined.
The final is scheduled for 13 November 2021 at the Staatstheater Cottbus. In addition to prizes of up to 2,000 euros, participants can also win workshops with musicians from the MDR Symphony Orchestra and concert performances at the MDR Musiksommer.
