"Stimme: an!" - the nationwide children's singing project
Location: Ball sports arena, Dresden
"Stimme: an!" - the nationwide children's singing project comes to an end! More than 1,500 children and young people took part in the project. 20 music schools from all over Saxony, which are funded by the Free State, are taking part with 38 sub-projects. The Chemnitz Municipal Music School will be taking part with around 100 children under the direction of Tina Pulst.
The project will be accompanied by prominent singing sponsors who are firmly rooted in Saxony's musical life, including Stefanie Hertel, Gerhard Schöne, the Thomanerchor, Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Sarah Lesch, Sandra Janke, the Amarcord ensemble, Stellmäcke,
Samuel Rösch, the band Ätna, the band Jenix, Felix Räuber, the Dresdner Kreuzchor, Uta Bresan and Enna Miau.

"Summer concert"
Venue: St. Petrikirche, Theaterplatz 3, 09111 Chemnitz
Admission: 10 euros, children up to 18 years free
Various ensembles, choirs and the youth symphony orchestra will perform.
You will hear festive and cheerful music to mark the end of the school year.
In this concert, Andreas Grohmann, the long-time director of the youth symphony orchestra, will be bid farewell.

World and European champion Robin Szolkowy at the Musikcafé

"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café on Thursday, 6 June 2024, 3 pm in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36.
Nancy Gibson chats with Robin Szolkowy. With his figure skating partner Aljona Savchenko, he became world champion five times and European champion four times, and they won the bronze medal twice at the Olympic Games. He now works as a coach and sports official at the Chemnitz Ice Skating Club. The audience will learn many interesting facts about this sport. The successful music from their great performances will be played.
