Music café "DA CAPO - Music for seniors" with participants from "Jugend musiziert"
Venue: Kraftwerk e. V., Kaßbergstraße 36,

"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36. Music lovers can experience music students from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School as guests at the music café.
The pupils will be taking part in the "Jugend musiziert" 2024 music competition. Some of them take part in this competition every year. The best pupils from the Municipal Music School will play solo performances.
In Nancy Gibson's conversation with the young artists, you will learn many interesting facts and experience impressive musical performances.

Christmas concert by the municipal music school

At the annual Christmas concert of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, ensembles and students from all subject areas perform and get the audience in the mood for the festive season.
In addition to traditional Christmas music, our ensembles will present highlights from "Der Rosenkavalier" and the "Comedian Harmonists". The new ukulele ensemble will also celebrate its premiere in the Carlowitzsaal at this year's Christmas concert.
The percussion ensemble will play pieces such as Jingle Bells and Joy To The World.
You will be surprised by the instruments on which the Christmas melodies will be played.
