Musikcafé Da Capo "Jugend musiziert"

On 5 December, our music lovers can welcome music students from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School as guests at the music café. These are pupils who will be taking part in the "Jugend musiziert" 2025 music competition. They have already performed at several events organised by the Municipal Music School. There will be string instruments such as the cello, wind instruments such as the bassoon and, of course, piano.
Nancy Gibson will lead through the programme and interview the young artists in her usual relaxed manner.

Christmas concert by the Municipal Music School
Venue: Carlowitz Congress Centre, Theaterstraße 3
Admission: 16 euros, reduced 12 euros
At the Chemnitz Municipal Music School's annual Christmas concert, ensembles and students from all subject areas perform and get the audience in the mood for the festive season.
In addition to traditional Christmas music, our ensembles will present highlights from "Swan Lake". The integrative ensemble "Motus" will open the concert together with the plucked string orchestra, and various choirs and instrumentalists will also perform. The big band and a saxophone ensemble will delight the audience with lively Christmas songs and the festive finale will be George Frideric Handel's "Hallelujah" from the "Messiah".
