Music café "We're celebrating our birthday ... 15 years of the DA CAPO music café"

The Da Capo groups of the Municipal Music School will play and sing under the direction of Christiane Korn, Andreas Grohmann and Özlem Pfante. You will hear Ilka and Thomas Stöß, Kerstin Randall, Jeffrey Goldberg and pupils of the Municipal Music School as soloists.
Nancy Gibson will moderate the concert and ask questions of the artists. Music lovers can look forward to a wonderful concert afternoon with many well-known melodies.

"Tunes and Dances from England, Ireland and Italy"
Venue: Chemnitz Municipal Music School, Gerichtsstraße 1
Admission: free of charge
On Saturday, 13 April from 10 am to 5 pm, an early music workshop will take place at the Municipal Music School. Around 30 young and adult participants with very different instruments such as violin, flute, cello, guitar, recorder and percussion will rehearse old dances from different countries together on this day and learn about the special playing style of the time.
At 4 p.m., the dances will be performed in various formations at the final concert and the instructors of this workshop will present their own historical instruments.
