Look at the people!

Public guided tour

Get to know the exhibition "Look at the people!" during our public guided tours. This is the first in-depth look at the neo-Objectivist type portrait of the Weimar period (1918-1933) in a historical context. Thinking in terms of human types and themes such as physiognomy and characterology were omnipresent at the time. The exhibition builds a bridge to the present day and makes it clear that many stereotypes and clichés from back then still have an effect today and influence the way we view our counterparts.
