The Stefan Heym Forum and the Stefan and Inge Heym Working Library - guided tour

Research material for historical novels, dedication copies from renowned fellow writers, Stefan Heym translated into the languages of the world: almost 20 years after his death, Inge Heym donated Stefan Heym's working library to the city of Chemnitz. Since autumn 2020, it has been presented in the original furniture of his study as the Stefan and Inge Heym Working Library in the newly established Stefan Heym Forum in the Das Tietz cultural centre, where it is available for research. Dr Ulrike Uhlig, Chairwoman of the Board of the International Stefan Heym Society, will explain the holdings, important exhibits and their history in her guided tour.
