Opening of the award-winning exhibition JugendKunstTriennale 2018

Three young artists from Chemnitz, Lisa Kunze, Sophie Lässig and Felix Hammermüller, each received a recognition prize of 200 euros for their work submitted to the 2018 JugendKunstTriennale organised by the Saxon-Bavarian network of cities.
A total of 193 young people aged between 14 and 25 from the cities of Chemnitz, Zwickau, Plauen, Hof and Bayreuth and their surrounding areas took part in the competition, submitting a total of 305 entries. 56 young people from Chemnitz submitted a total of 88 entries.
The entries were judged by a panel of experts in two age categories: 14 to 18 years and 19 to 25 years. A total of four main prizes of 500 euros each and 20 recognition prizes of 200 euros each were awarded.
