Events organised by the City of Chemnitz Cultural Department in April

Chemnitz Municipal Music School and City Archive invite you

DA CAPO - Music for Seniors, Musikcafé im Kraftwerk e.V.

"DA CAPO - Musik für Senioren" invites you to another edition of the music café "Zauber der Musik: grenzenlos, barrierefrei" on Thursday, 6 April at 3 pm in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36. Guests at the "DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" music café will be Petra Liebetrau, Disability Officer for the City of Chemnitz, and Denis Hartzsch, piano tuner at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School.
Denis Hartzsch is blind and a musician. He will delight music lovers at the piano with his singing.
The admission price is 6 euros, including coffee and cake.

Instrument Day at the Municipal Music School

Discoveries in the realm of musical instruments - invitation to hear, see and try out
The Chemnitz Municipal Music School is opening its premises at Gerichtsstraße 1 on Kaßberg for an Instrument Day on Saturday, 8 April. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., children, young people and their parents who are interested in music are cordially invited to try out various musical instruments in the rooms of the music school. In the band room, the rock-pop-jazz section will be presenting band performances from 10 am to 1 pm. In addition, the concert "Antonia in the Fairytale Forest - Sleeping Beauty" will take place twice, at 10.30 am and 12 noon, in the concert hall. The music school staff will be happy to answer any questions about enrolment at the music school.
