Walter Wemut's handouts for a successful life, the furious yet relaxed and witty monologue by a full-time obituary author on the big questions of our existence.

Saturday, 28 March, 7 p.m.
Paula Irmschler: Superbusen

Venue: TIETZ, Central Library, Event Hall
Price: 8 euros, reduced 6 euros

Gisela moves to Chemnitz to start afresh. The city is a promise for the early 20-year-old. To finally study, to find herself, away from her family and all the other people she doesn't understand and who don't understand her. But she takes her body and her thoughts with her. But in Chemnitz there are friends who don't want to accept the world as it is. Together they go to demonstrations, get drunk, try to make ends meet and form a band: Superbusen. At their concerts, they discover for the first time the construct of East and West, what holds them together and divides them as women, and the power of music.
