Lecture by Dr Hans Hagdorn (Muschelkalkmuseum Ingelfingen): Evolutionary biology of crinoids in the Triassic period.
The lecture will show how crinoids adapted to a wide variety of habitats and changed morphologically over a period of 50 million years up to the end of the Triassic. The journey leads from the Muschelkalk through the Cassian layers of the Dolomites to the late Triassic of China and New Caledonia.

Easter in the Petrified Forest Chemnitz
Easter is upside down! We want to look for Easter eggs with a difference and paint plaster casts. You can microscope, prepare and immerse yourself in a world 291 million years ago.
