Public Tuesday tour: The Petrified Forest - A Chemnitz highlight
Be fascinated by one of the highlights of the city of Chemnitz. Still underestimated by many Chemnitz residents, this uniquely preserved forest ecosystem from the Permian period is a worldwide sensation. Current research results from the excavations in Hilbersdorf and Sonnenberg will be presented in a generally understandable way and take the participants into a fascinating world of prehistoric times.

At last, the Advent season is approaching and the supermarket shelves are filled with gingerbread, speculoos and children's punch. The scent of Christmas is everywhere. But what exotic scents and spices do we associate with Christmas? Discover with us how wonderful Christmas can smell.
Creative activity: Designing a clove orange - for children aged 5 to 10 years
Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours, material costs: 2 euros
