Interactive exhibition: Museum experience
A forest that stretches back 291 million years into the history of the earth and a permanent exhibition that has been standing for 20 years. We retell the stories about the life and death of our fossilised tree giants and bring much more from the collections to light.
Over the past few years, children and young people have been thinking about what the museum should offer in the future: Using games, animated films and audio contributions they developed themselves, they brought primordial dinosaurs, scorpions and giant dragonflies to life for the experience level of the new permanent exhibition. The resulting interactive stations were tested by young and old alike. These change requests were implemented and now it is once again time to discover, play and dream.
Visiting the interactive exhibition: Erlebnisraum Museum is free of charge. A valid admission ticket is required for the tour of the permanent and special exhibitions.
Summer holiday offer for after-school groups:
1 to 4 August (since 10 July)
Attention: Danger of animal confusion!
Participation: free of charge for children and young people under the age of 18.
Material costs of 1 euro per participant apply. Number of participants limited to 25.

Badger or raccoon? Brown hare or wild rabbit? Beaver or otter? In the animal world, some species look very similar. Let's take a closer look together and embark on an animal discovery tour full of differences and similarities. As a creative activity, you will make a key ring with wooden beads.
