Information evening: Further training to become an inclusion coach

Germany is still a long way from implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Since March 2009, Germany has been obliged to offer all children and young people inclusive and equal access to education at primary and secondary schools. This means that children with special educational needs should no longer be taught separately at special schools, but together with other children at the nearest school. Inclusive access is also to be ensured in the area of education and studies. Benefits for participation in the labour market for people with disabilities are already regulated in SGB III.
The course provides information about further training to become an inclusion coach (training course with 60 units), which provides the knowledge and skills to support upcoming inclusion processes in school institutions and to organise inclusive lessons.

The Böll family in Ireland and the Irish Diary: Lecture with René Böll on the occasion of Heinrich Böll's 100th birthday - NEW!

In 1958, Heinrich Böll bought a cottage in Dugort on Achill Island, where he lived and worked until the mid-1970s. In his lecture on the Böll family's stays on Achill Island, René Böll, the son of the writer and Nobel Prize winner, explains how the family experienced Ireland from 1955 onwards and how their close connection to this place of residence developed to this day. This is illustrated by letters, documents, notes and photos, most of which come from the family album from the 1950s and 1960s. The painter and artist René Böll takes us on a mental walk to the places that also appear in the "Irish Diary" and supplements this with personal memories of the Böll family's life on Achill Island. Böll Cottage has been used as a guest house for international and Irish artists since 1992.
This event is a cooperation between the educational organisation "weiterdenken" at the Heinrich Böll Foundation and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.

30 tips against "procrastination"

We all know it from ourselves: Although they are important, unpleasant tasks are not done immediately, but postponed. If this happens often and the person affected suffers from it, it is known as "procrastination". There are different basic types of procrastination. The lecture will familiarise you with this typology and present 30 tips against procrastination for discussion.

OneNote - the clever digital notepad

With OneNote, business processes can be quickly organised, archived and searched for in the form of notes. These can be organised in any order and sorted into tabs, even by section if necessary. The programme is therefore also suitable for archiving Office data, e.g. from Outlook, Word or Excel. Thanks to the individual folder structure and colour coding, the data can be combined with each other as required and stored with notes, images or videos.

Open writing workshop

Would you like to start writing again or tell an exciting short story? Based on your ideas and texts, this course will teach you useful tools for developing characters, settings and scenes. Topics include: Developing ideas, interesting settings and characters. How do I create suspense? You will also receive tips on how to get into the flow of writing. Existing texts can be brought along and discussed in the group.
The course is suitable for beginners with no previous knowledge and advanced writers.
