Autumn crafts - bird feeding in autumn
We make tit dumplings
Location: Botanical Garden, Leipziger Straße 147
Fee will be charged, registration required!
NABU invites young and old bird lovers to this hands-on activity. Together we will make tit bells and tit dumplings for feeding birds in autumn and winter. Participants can then take these home with them. While the tit bells are cooling down, we will go on a short excursion to the Küchwald forest. There, Mrs Lauterbach will show us the bird nesting boxes that she looks after on a voluntary basis. At the same time, citizens can learn a lot about the feathered users while cleaning the nesting boxes.

On the tour through the pond area, the wetland habitat and its inhabitants are also explained in more detail. Please remember to wear weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes. You are welcome to bring your own binoculars.
