How do bees live? What does a beehive look like? What is the bees' favourite food? This guided tour in the Botanical Garden gives children and adults a small insight into the life of a bee colony and of course there is also honey to taste.

Since summer 2024, the voices of all birds in the Botanical Garden have been recorded by a project of Chemnitz University of Technology. With the help of the BirdNET app, birds can be recognised by their voices. The project provides us with information about the frequency and occurrence of bird species.
