NABU Insect Summer Festival

Registration is possible via the adult education centre: www.vhs-chemnitz.de/kurs/S2439040

At the NABU Insect Summer Festival, nature fans young and old can observe and report the buzzing and crawling of insects in the Botanic Garden. The animals can be counted with beaker magnifying glasses and identified with the help of expert information. There are also interesting craft activities and numerous native and exotic insect species can be marvelled at and even touched.

Please remember to wear clothing suitable for the weather and meadows and sturdy shoes.

There is a small charge for the handicrafts (wooden items), which is payable on site.

This event is a co-operation between the NABU Regionalverband Erzgebirge e. V. and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre. It is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the members of the Saxon state parliament.
