Together we will go on a journey to the Chemnitz Petrified Forest and take a look at the exhibition. How is a fossil actually formed, when did it once live and how did we discover it in the centre of Chemnitz? We will find answers to these questions together. At the end, you will design a wood decorated with a fossil picture.
Only with pre-booking at fenster@naturkunde-chemnitz.de or 0371 / 27369367.
The "Window into Earth History" project is funded by the ESF.

This year, the Museum of Natural History measured, sawed, filmed and made pottery. Pupils from the Chemnitz school model brought the Chemnitz Petrified Forest to life with games, animated films and audio contributions. The special exhibition now shows the creative results, which are to become part of the new permanent exhibition, to a broad public.
