Public Tuesday guided tour: The Petrified Forest of Chemnitz - Hidden Beauty

A precious treasure is hidden underground in Chemnitz, because this is where the Petrified Forest is buried. A volcanic eruption 291 million years ago preserved the flora and fauna of the Permian for us. We will explore the past of the Chemnitz Valley and be mesmerised by the beauty of petrified wood.
