Corresponding to the period of the First World War from 1914 to 1918, the Schlossbergmuseum Chemnitz is showing another photograph from its collection of historical images of the war, with expert support from the ENT_Rüstet team.

Have you always been interested in getting to grips with digital media and learning how to use digital devices? In this workshop, you can learn how to use tablets under supervision. You do not need any previous knowledge or your own device to take part in this multi-part event.

You should never promise too much. Ever since old Pettersson told his cat about Father Christmas, Findus has only had one wish: that Father Christmas would come to him too. Of course Pettersson doesn't want to disappoint him! The fact that things turn out differently than Pettersson had planned can only be due to the fact that sometimes things happen that simply cannot be explained... For everyone aged 4 and over!

Concert: Russian romances with Natalia Gonochova
Venue: TIETZ, Neue Sächsische Galerie
Admission: 6 euros, reduced 4 euros
Natalia Gonochova, born in St. Petersburg, has made a name for herself as a singer of Russian romances and chansons in Russia. She was honoured with the "Zerskoje Selo" artist prize and the Petropol Award in 2008. She will accompany herself on the guitar and piano at the concert.

Let's Play - Gaming in the library "Virtual Reality Special"
Location: TIETZ, Central Library, reading room in the Science & Technology section
Admission: free
What is virtual reality and is the trend already over before it has really started? After a short keynote speech, all participants are invited to try out VR glasses for themselves. If you like, you can also make your own VR glasses.
Recommended for children aged 12 and over.
The event is supported by M.Sc. Max Bernhagen, research assistant at Chemnitz University of Technology (Chair of Labour Science and Innovation Management)

On quiet soles... stories to listen to
read aloud for everyone with keen ears
Our reading mentors take both young and older listeners into colourful fantasy worlds with great pleasure. They read the latest children's books, classics, "bestsellers" from their own childhood or even texts they have written themselves in the atmospheric reading tent in the children's world.
Admission to the reading sessions is free.
