Evening tours through the zoo
During the first week of the holiday, the site can be explored at dusk
From Thursday, 21 October to Sunday, 24 October, Chemnitz Zoo will be offering a guided tour every evening. These start at 5 pm each day. Each tour lasts 90 minutes. Registration at tierpark(at)stadt-chemnitz.de is required by 2 pm the day before. Tickets can be purchased at the zoo ticket office during regular opening hours once registration has been confirmed. Please note: The ticket office is only open until 4 pm, there is no box office.
Participation in the guided tour costs 10 euros per person and the number of participants is limited. On 21 October and 23 October, participation is suitable for children aged six and over. On 22 October and 24 October, the minimum age for participation is 12 years. The programme is of course also aimed at adults.
The evening tours were already offered during the summer holidays and were in high demand. Participants learn what the animals in the zoo do in the evening or at night, who goes to sleep and who only really wakes up in the evening. The general safety and hygiene rules must be observed during the tour. Participation with dogs is not possible.
