The final documentation on the evaluation of the cultural strategy has been published. The brochure can now be downloaded from the following links:

In 2023 and 2024, a joint evaluation process took place with cultural professionals, cultural policy makers and experts, during which the cultural strategy was reviewed to identify any need for updating and clarification.
Following the conclusion of this process, documentation was compiled under the leadership of the City of Chemnitz's cultural organisation, which provides insights into the following topics:
- Implementation status of measures of the cultural strategy and their possible specification,
- Integration of themes of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025,
- Results of the survey of cultural organisations conducted by Chemnitz University of Technology, and
- Recommendations for action based on a cultural strategy summary.
The documentation will also be published in English shortly.
The City of Chemnitz's cultural strategy for the years 2018 to 2030 was adopted by Chemnitz City Council on 30 January 2019.
