EU project participants in Chemnitz town hall
International participants in an EU project will visit Chemnitz City Hall on Tuesday, 8 April. The guests from Turkey, France, Poland and Hungary will be welcomed by EU Coordinator Pia Sachs. Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend - the meeting point is 11 a.m. in room 211.
In their home countries, the EU project participants work as social pedagogues, carers and teachers and are visiting Chemnitz as part of an EU project run by F+U Sachsen gGmbH. The project is a European learning partnership with the aim of promoting the exchange of experience and information in dealing with disadvantaged learners. F+U Sachsen gGmbH will be presenting its work in this context.
At the reception in Chemnitz City Hall, the project participants will gain an insight into the history and European work of the city, focussing on projects and activities that are already dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged citizens.
