Erfenschlag natural play area opens

On Wednesday 3 July at 10.30 a.m., Mayor Dagmar Ruscheinsky will open the new near-natural play area at Erfenschlag, Am Erfenschlager Bad 13.
A near-natural leisure and recreation area for children without traditional play equipment has been built on the site of the former Erfenschlager outdoor pool. Only natural materials were used. A marble run, a rock climb, balancing logs and a tunnel now invite children to play and explore freely.
The costs totalled around 120,000 euros and included the planning and construction of the play area as well as the division of the land.
The subsequent use of the site of the former Erfenschlag summer swimming pool as a near-natural leisure and play centre was implemented in close cooperation with the Chemnitz-Erfenschlag e. V. citizens' association. V. was realised.
