Environmental award for young environmentalists
The City of Chemnitz would like to remind you that the deadline for submitting projects for the 2013 Environmental Award is 15 April. The City of Chemnitz Environmental Prize is awarded annually. Children and young people up to the age of 20 who live in the city, go to school or are involved in a working group in the city of Chemnitz can apply. All schools and day-care centres in the city of Chemnitz received the call for entries in August 2012.
With the Environmental Award, the Environment Agency wants to encourage children and young people to engage with forward-looking topics. Children and young people can acquire knowledge and develop their creativity and initiative. The environmental prize is awarded annually on the occasion of "Environment Day" in June.
CVAG, eins energie in sachsen GmbH und Co KG, Südsachsen Wasser GmbH and the city of Chemnitz's waste management and city cleaning company support the Chemnitz Environmental Award.
