Environmental Agency organises excursions
The traditional bird song walk will take place on Sunday, 24 April 2016,
at 6 am. Under the guidance of active and experienced ornithologists, attention will be drawn to bird calls and observations.
This time, the bird song excursion will take you to the Stärkerwald forest and its surroundings. The meeting point is on Pawlowstraße after the last residential building with the number 7.
All nature conservation helpers and citizens interested in birdlife are cordially invited.
The monthly event of the voluntary nature conservation service - the first excursion of the year - will take place on Tuesday, 26 April 2016 at 5 pm.
This will take you to the Ebersdorf Forest and, under the guidance of Gerd Fanghänel from the Environmental Agency, Lower Nature Conservation Authority, will explore the question of what has become of the chain of forest ponds that was renaturalised three years ago.
The meeting point is at the barrier into the Ebersdorf forest at the end of Berta-von-Suttner-Straße. All nature conservation helpers and anyone interested in the topic are cordially invited to attend.
Participation in both events is free of charge.
