The Environmental Centre invites you - Exhibition at DAStietz
On 15 September 2016 at 17:00, the Agenda 21 exhibition "Education for Sustainable Development" will open at DAStietz, Moritzstraße 20, 09111 Chemnitz, in the corridors of the adult education centre on the 4th floor.
Under the patronage of Brunhild Kurth, Saxony's Minister of State for Culture, the exhibition was conceived for Chemnitz for the first time. The aim is to present a wide range of educational programmes on the subject of sustainable lifestyles.

The exhibition is open to the public at the VHS until 27 October 2016.
Background:
The exhibition "Education for Sustainable Development in Saxony" is prepared and opened in a different city in Saxony every year. The exhibitions are intended to publicise the diverse initiatives, projects and players involved in sustainable development at Saxony's educational institutions to a wider public and to encourage people to join in and imitate them. It presents a wide range of educational programmes for a sustainable way of life. The approaches of school and extracurricular educational institutions are presented in the context of lifelong learning: from early childhood education to further education for people of all ages. Day-care centres, general and vocational schools and extracurricular educational institutions with ESD projects can take part. In 2016, the exhibition will be organised under the responsibility of the Nachhall e. V. association.
