Eckstrasse construction project completed
Renovation and remodelling of Eckstraße between Hauboldstraße and Further Straße completed
The construction work for the renewal and remodelling of Eckstraße between Hauboldstraße and Further Straße in the Brühl-Nord redevelopment area has been completed.
New asphalt layers were laid over a length of around 180 metres, granite slab and granite paving footpaths were laid on both sides with parking spaces in front and the road drainage was renewed.
The cul-de-sac between Further Strasse and house no. 3 was also reorganised. The carriageway width was reduced to 5.50 metres. The remaining width was used to accommodate perpendicular car parking spaces1) on the undeveloped side.
The construction project began on 15 August 2016. The construction company Vogtländischer Straßen-, Tief- & Rohrleitungsbau GmbH from Rodewisch was commissioned to carry out the work.
The construction project cost around 200,000 euros. It was financed with urban development funds.
