Easter weekend at the zoo and wildlife park
Longer opening hours at the zoo and Easter egg hunt
The Easter weekend is just around the corner. This is always a good opportunity to pay a visit to the zoo and wildlife park, even if it will probably be rather wintry. But if it's too cold, you can warm up in the tropical house and vivarium, watch the now very agile meerkat pups or admire the variety of colourful frogs.
The zoo will therefore be open one hour longer than usual in March on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday - last admission is 5.00 pm, the zoo closes its gates at 6.00 pm. On Easter Monday, 1 April, the zoo will be open until 19:00, last admission is 18:00.
On Good Friday (and while stocks last), young visitors can expect a sweet surprise when they enter the zoo. On Easter Sunday (31 March), the wildlife park will once again host the traditional Easter egg hunt from 10:00 am. The facility opens at 10.00 am on this day.
