Easter at the zoo and wildlife park

The animal keepers at the zoo have come up with some great ideas for Easter and the school holidays: In the foyer of the tropical house, you can see which eggs the birds living in the zoo lay.

From Good Friday to 1 April, there will be a short guided tour of certain animals or groups of animals every day at 11 a.m. (Good Friday, 25 March: parrots, Saturday, 26 March: camels, Sunday, 27 March: giant salamanders, Sunday, 27 March: camels).March: giant salamanders, Monday, 29 March: sloth bears and macaques, Tuesday, 29 March: tropical house, Wednesday, 30 March: tigers, Thursday, 31 March: kangaroos, Friday, 1 March: Przewalski's horses). There will also be an alpaca walk through the zoo from 29 March to 1 April at 3 pm.

On Easter Sunday, the wildlife park opens at 10 am. The traditional Easter egg hunt will take place again.

Opening hours of the zoo at Easter:
Good Friday and Easter Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., last admission 5 p.m.
Easter Sunday and Easter Monday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., last admission 6 p.m.

Opening hours of the Wildgatters:
Daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Easter Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
