East Parade on Saturday, 29 September

Next Saturday, 29 September, the "East Parade", an event of the Chemnitz band scene, will take place for the first time.
Brückenstraße between Theaterstraße/ Mühlenstraße and Straße der Nationen will be closed from 12 noon to 11.30 pm to secure the start and finish area. Stopping will also be prohibited on Brückenstraße from 11 am on Saturday.
A parade with the following route will take place from 4 pm to approx. 6.30 pm: Start / Finish: Brückenstraße - Mühlenstraße - Hermannstraße - Brühl - Elisenstraße - Straße der Nationen - Georgstraße - Mühlenstraße - Brühl Georgstraße - Mühlenstraße - Brückenstraße - Bahnhofstraße - Falkeplatz - Theaterstraße
During the "Brühl-Kiez" event, there will be an intermediate stop of approx. one hour on Brühl.
The procession will be accompanied and secured by the Chemnitz Police Headquarters. There will be temporary traffic restrictions on the route during the parade.
CVAG will announce any changes to bus and train services separately.
