East Parade on 17 August
Closure of Brückenstraße and temporary traffic restrictions
On Saturday, 17 August, the "East Parade", an event of the Chemnitz band scene, will take place for the second time.
Brückenstraße between Theaterstraße/Mühlenstraße and Straße der Nationen will be closed from 11 am to 11.30 pm to secure the start and finish area. Stopping restrictions apply from 10 am.
A parade with the following route will take place from 3 pm:
Start Brückenstraße - Mühlenstraße - Hermannstraße - Brühl (intermediate stop) - Elisenstraße - Straße der Nationen - Georgstraße - Mühlenstraße - Brückenstraße - Bahnhofstraße - Falkeplatz - Theaterstraße - finish Brückenstraße
The procession will be accompanied and secured by the Chemnitz Police Headquarters.
There will be temporary traffic restrictions on the route during the parade.
CVAG will announce any changes to bus and train services separately.
