District heating route being repaired - note traffic restrictions until July
Starting next week, flood damage to the district heating line will be repaired on behalf of Eins. The district heating route runs parallel to the Chemnitz.
The overall construction period will run from April to December 2014 and the work will be carried out in the public traffic area with a crossing of the Müllerstraße carriageway using the open construction method until July.
For the carriageway crossing, the side of the carriageway from Nordstraße towards Mühlenstraße will be fully closed for seven weeks and then the side of the carriageway from Mühlenstraße towards Nordstraße will be closed for six weeks.
Traffic will be kept moving on the opposite carriageway with one lane in each direction at the Müllerstraße / Mühlenstraße and Müllerstraße / Nordstraße junctions.
In the coming week, the crossings will be constructed from Monday to Thursday.
