DiscoverEU Inclusion
Youth social work organisations and youth education providers can apply
The EU Office of the City of Chemnitz informs that in a DiscoverEU inclusion project, one to five young people with fewer opportunities from the same country can travel through Europe for a short period of time. The DiscoverEU trips must take place in at least one country other than the one in which the young people started their journey.
DiscoverEU Inclusion is a gateway to Europe for young people over the age of 18 who are otherwise unable to travel (or can only do so at considerable expense) due to social, economic, cultural, geographical, health or other barriers. The funding format enables them to gain their first international/European experience independently or with their own peers.
Application:
Organisations that work with the target group in a non-formal context, e.g. youth social work organisations, youth associations, open youth facilities, youth education providers, are eligible to apply. Applications can also be submitted by an informal group of young people. For organisations and institutions from the youth sector, DiscoverEU Inclusion is a complementary offer to their existing services.
