"Direkt vom Beet" - a Chemnitz platform for a more sustainable everyday life
Lecture at the adult education centre on 25 June, 7 pm
On Thursday, 25 June, from 7 to 8.30 pm, interested parties are invited to get to know the "Direkt vom Beet" platform. Its founder will be presenting it at the adult education centre in course room 4.07. The event is free of charge. Awareness of ecology and sustainability is playing an increasingly important role in our society. More and more people want healthy food and are questioning its origin. They are looking for regional products and producers. Straightforward methods are useful in everyday life. The "Direkt vom Beet" platform brings gardeners together with people who are looking for fresh produce.
Anyone can use the platform to make others happy with the produce from their garden or enjoy local produce. A handshake over the garden fence makes it clear: this food is regional, unpackaged, fresh and healthy. This saves time and waste. The lecture invites you to try out practical ideas for a more sustainable everyday life.
