On Thursday, 23 January, from 6 to 7.30 p.m., interested parties are invited to a panel discussion on the topic of "Sustainability and profitability: opportunities and obligations for companies and local authorities".
The focus will be on the following questions, among others: What new requirements are there in the area of sustainability for companies and local authorities? What solutions already exist? And what role do research and innovation play in this?

Franziska Lehmann from texulting GmbH will open the evening with an introduction to the topic of sustainability. In particular, she will shed light on why sustainability is so important today and how reporting in this area influences both corporate practice and municipal development.

The event will then provide a platform for dialogue and discussion of current challenges and possible solutions. Relevant stakeholders from the city of Chemnitz and regional experts will be on hand to answer questions from participants.
The event is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament.
