Diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumours
Invitation to an event of the Psychosocial Tumour Counselling Centre of the Health Department and the Tumour Centre Chemnitz e.V.
On Wednesday, 27 March at 9 a.m., a joint and free further training event on the topic of "Diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumours" will be held at the TIETZ cultural centre by the Psychosocial Tumour Counselling Centre of the Chemnitz City Health Department and the Tumour Centre Chemnitz e.V.. Neuroendocrine tumours are rare tumours that develop from hormone-producing cells and usually produce hormones, transmitters or messenger substances themselves. The stomach, intestines, pancreas and lungs are frequently affected. On this day, various presentations (systematics, indications, diagnostics, therapeutic options and aftercare, nutritional recommendations) will be given by expert speakers. Other topics include psychological help with the progression of cancer, a report from a patient and psychosocial counselling options to help cope with the disease.
