Design ideas for the entrance area of the Botanic Garden are shown
Invitation for journalists: Exhibition opening and inauguration of the new foyer in the main building on 18 April, 2 p.m.
On Thursday 18 April at 2 pm, an exhibition of design ideas for the entrance area of the Botanical Garden of the City of Chemnitz will be opened with invited guests in the foyer of the main building of the Botanical Garden. Representatives of the media are invited to attend.
Various implementation plans for the redesign of the entrance areas and the enclosure facing Leipziger Straße will be on display. The eleven design proposals are the result of a co-operation with the TU Dresden, Institute of Landscape Architecture, and were created by students.
The exhibition marks the inauguration of the foyer, which was renovated last year together with the Botanic Garden's Friends' Association. A new glass roof was installed and the lighting, floor and walls were renewed.
The student works can be viewed daily from 19 April to 10 June 2024 from 8 am to 6 pm.
