Deserving firefighters are honoured

Honours ceremony on 3 November, 6 p.m., City Council Chamber, Town Hall

On Friday, 3 November at 6 p.m., the City of Chemnitz will once again honour deserving members of the volunteer fire brigades. The festive event, to which the honourees and their families are invited, will take place in the City Council Chamber of the Town Hall.

Representatives of the media are also welcome.

Every year in November, the meritorious work of members of the volunteer fire brigades and civil protection services in Chemnitz is honoured. This year, René Kraus, Head of the City of Chemnitz Fire Department, honoured 20 members of the volunteer fire brigades in attendance for their many years of dedicated voluntary service. Four people have cancelled their participation in the event, and there are no members of the civil protection services present this year.
