Deserving firefighters are honoured
Honours ceremony on 3 November, 6 p.m., City Council Chamber, Town Hall
On Thursday, 3 November at 6 p.m., the City of Chemnitz will once again honour deserving members of the volunteer fire brigades as well as helpers from the civil protection service. The festive event, to which the honourees and their families are invited, will take place in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall.
Representatives of the media are also welcome.
It is a good tradition at Chemnitz City Hall to honour the meritorious work of members of the volunteer fire brigades and civil protection services in Chemnitz every year in November. This year, Mayor Knut Kunze honoured 21 members of the volunteer fire brigades and civil protection services for their many years of dedicated voluntary service.
