On Tuesday, 16 April, the initiative AktionC/Bürgerverein für Chemnitz will open the Poster Mile of Democracy in Innere Klosterstraße from 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. there will be various events on Jakobikirchplatz and in Jakobikirche to mark the nationwide Day of Action for Democracy. According to Ines Vorsatz, Head of the LAP Coordination Office at the City of Chemnitz, some of the works presented on this day have already been shown at various locations in Chemnitz for the Chemnitz Peace Day on 5 March 2013. All the works from the participating schools, day-care centres and educational institutions will now be on display for the first time on 16 April. Further details on the programme for the day can be found in the attached file.

Ines Vorsatz: "The campaign is part of the nationwide day of action 'We for Democracy - Day and Night for Tolerance'. On this day, the federal government is sending a clear signal in favour of tolerance and social diversity and against right-wing extremism. We cordially invite the citizens of Chemnitz to be there and take part".
