Delegation from Romania at the town hall
Invitation for press representatives: 29 October 2015, 10 a.m.
A delegation from Romania is visiting Chemnitz on 29 October 2015. The city's EU Coordinator, Pia Sachs, will receive the Romanian guests on Thursday, 29 October 2015, 10 a.m., in the City Hall. In a discussion, they will receive information on the history and current situation in the city as well as the European work in Chemnitz. The discussion will be followed by a tour of the town hall. Representatives of the press are cordially invited to the event.
The Romanian delegation of around ten people accepted the invitation from solaris Förderzentrum für Jugend und Umwelt gGmbH to gain an insight into the organisation and administration of a non-profit organisation. The legal form of the gGmbH is quite new and largely unknown in Romania and the visit to Chemnitz is intended to help gain experience of the workings of a non-profit organisation and to be able to use this knowledge in Romania when setting up gGmbHs. Information about other non-profit organisations in Chemnitz will also be presented to the delegation and passed on.
