Defibrillator for the Richard Hartmann sports hall
Invitation to the photo session: Handover on 29 June, 1.30 pm in the Hartmannhalle
On Friday 29 June at 1.30 pm, Mayor Sven Schulze will receive a defibrillator from representatives of the Lions Club Wasserschloss Klaffenbach and Richard Hartmann e.V. for use in the Richard Hartmann sports hall.
The use of defibrillators can improve the chances of successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation. They are excellent "first responders" when emergency treatment is required. The use of the devices is absolutely uncomplicated and easy to operate for medical laypersons.
The purchase of the device, which costs around 2,200 euros, was supported by a donation of 600 euros from the Lions Club Wasserschloss Klaffenbach and a sponsorship contribution of 500 euros from Richard Hartmann e. V.
Around 100 events are held in the Richard Hartmann Hall every year, attracting around 63,000 visitors. The next sporting highlight will be the U-20 European Basketball Championships from 14 to 22 July.
Further defibrillators are available in the town hall, the Moritzhof community and administration centre, the Bürgerhaus am Wall, the Gunzenhauser Museum, the TIETZ, the health department and the municipal swimming pool.
