Decision is made: Who will be European Capital of Culture 2025
Invitation to the announcement of the decision and press conference on 28 October
The European jury will announce its vote in the German selection process for the title of European Capital of Culture 2025 on 28 October.
The announcement will be made in a livestream, which the Kulturstiftung der Länder, the organiser of the competition, will broadcast publicly on its YouTube channel from 1 pm: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysC3R8vAesg
The Chemnitz2025 application team will follow this live broadcast in a small group in the Chemnitz City Hall due to the coronavirus pandemic. Other supporter groups following the announcement together will be connected via a screen - creating a large virtual community.
Due to the Corona regulations, we cordially invite only a limited number of media representatives to this internal event in the foyer of the Chemnitz City Hall.
Admission: 12.30 pm (main entrance to the Stadthalle)
Start: 1 pm

Following the announcement, Chemnitz2025 will comment on the outcome of the decision in a separate press conference on site and digitally, starting at 2 p.m.
