DA CAPO - Musikcafé im Kraftwerk e.V. - 2 April, 3 p.m.
Christiane Korn, musician and music teacher at the municipal music school, will be a guest at the next "DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" music café on 2 April at 3 p.m. at Kraftwerk e.V., Kaßbergstraße 36.
She began learning to play the violin at the age of six at the Karl-Marx-Stadt Municipal Music School. As a teenager, she was a member of the TU orchestra as well as various folk, rock and jazz bands.
Christiane Korn currently plays in the quartet "Quartetto concento" and in the chamber orchestra "Collegium Instrumentale Chemnitz", in the tango trio "minimal" and in the band "Bumerang".
With the chamber orchestra "Collegium Instrumentale Chemnitz" she travels through the Ore Mountains and plays in churches.
In an exciting chat between Nancy Gibson and Christiane Korn, you will learn many interesting facts. The conversation will only be interrupted to listen to melodies played by Christiane Korn or her students Maja Baitz, Alina Schwarzbach, Antonia Uhlig and Michelle Tschauschner.
You will experience a relaxing afternoon with coffee and cake.
